1. Agreement to Terms
By participating in any of our programs or retreats, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not participate.
2. Program Participation
2.1 Eligibility: Participants must be at least 18 years old to join our programs and retreats.
2.2 Registration: All participants must complete the registration form and make the necessary payment to secure their spot.
2.3 Health and Safety: Participants must inform us of any medical conditions or special needs prior to the program or retreat. We reserve the right to decline participation if it poses a health or safety risk.
3. Payment and Refunds
3.1 Payment: Full payment is required at the time of registration unless otherwise stated.
3.2 Cancellation Policy for Programs:
- Refunds are available up to 7 days after you started the program. After this period, no refunds will be issued.
- We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any program at any time. In the event of a cancellation, participants will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to another program.
3.3 Cancellation Policy for Retreats:
- Free cancellation for 48 hours.
- For a full refund, the guest must cancel within 48 hours of booking.
- For a 50% refund of the retreat rate, the guest must cancel within 30 days of booking.
- If the guest cancels more than 30 days in advance or decides to leave early, the investment is not refundable.
3.4 Late Fee: For payment plans, a $50 (US) late fee will be charged for payments not received or unable to be processed by each installment due date.
4. Code of Conduct
4.1 Behavior: Participants are expected to behave respectfully and professionally. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
4.2 Dismissal: We reserve the right to dismiss any participant who violates the code of conduct without a refund.
5. Confidentiality
5.1 Confidentiality: EmBodhi Shakti, LLC. highly respects the privacy of their clients and holds in strict confidence all information about clients and complies with applicable privacy and other legislation. No information will be released to a third party without your written permission. At any time, you have the right to withhold or withdraw consent, or place conditions on the disclosure of your information. There are situations, however, where EmBodhi Shakti, LLC. would be legally required to release personal information to proper authorities and/or to other persons who may be required to intervene as necessary. You will be notified before this occurs.
5.2 Email Confidentiality: With every email sent, your messages and your privacy are at risk of being viewed, intercepted, or modified by third parties. EmBodhi Shakti, LLC. recommends that clients sign up for a secure email account to ensure that correspondence is kept confidential. EmBodhi Shakti, LLC accepts no liability for any interference with or damage to your computer system, software, or data occurring in connection with your use of insecure email to communicate with EmBodhi Shakti, LLC.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Content: All materials provided during the programs and retreats, including but not limited to written content, videos, and presentations, are the intellectual property of EmBodhi Shakti, LLC. Participants may not reproduce, distribute, or share these materials without prior written consent.
7. Liability
7.1 Risks and Benefits: There are risks and benefits to this process. Working with EmBodhi Shakti may involve the risk of remembering unpleasant events and may arouse strong and/or unanticipated feelings. Benefits of working with EmBodhi Shakti may include an increased ability to live more effectively, improving your ability to cope with issues that arise in areas of your life such as interpersonal relationships, family, friends, and career. You may also gain a better understanding of yourself, your goals, and your values which will assist you in your personal and career growth. Given the nature of working with EmBodhi Shakti, it is difficult to predict or guarantee any particular outcomes. However, EmBodhi Shakti, LLC. will do our very best to help you experience its benefits. EmBodhi Shakti, LLC. encourages you to discuss any questions or concerns with the team at any point during this process.
7.2 Limitation of Liability: The Client is responsible for his/her own decisions, actions, and results. The Client agrees to hold EmBodhi Shakti, LLC and team free from all liability for any action, advice, consultation, and results, or adverse situations resulting directly or indirectly from session-related communications between the parties, including but not limited to any losses caused by any negligence on the part of EmBodhi Shakti, LLC. The Client agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless EmBodhi Shakti, LLC. and its agents, officers, and employees from and against any and all liability or expense, including defense costs and legal fees incurred in connection with claims for damages of any nature whatsoever including but not limited to bodily injury, death, personal injury, financial or business losses, worker’s compensation, past or future lost earnings, damage to reputation, or property damage arising from EmBodhi Shakti LLC's performance or failure to perform obligations hereunder. We shall not be liable for any damages, loss, costs, or expenses, including incidental or consequential damages, of the Client. The Client's sole remedy against EmBodhi Shakti, LLC. shall be the replacement cost of services.
8. Privacy Policy
8.1 Data Collection: We collect your name, address, email address, and credit card information when you sign up for your program. We use this information to process transactions, to personalize your experience in your program, and to send you periodic emails. Your information will be shared in a secure manner with current employees of EmBodhi Shakti, LLC to pay for the program and to send you information pertaining to the program. Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of paying for and/or delivering the purchased service requested by you.
9. Force Majeure
We will not be in breach of our obligations under this agreement (other than to pay monies due) in the event that, for cause or causes beyond our control, the Professional, Trainer or Consultant is unable to perform, in whole or in part, any one or more of its obligations under this Agreement. Such causes shall include, but not be limited to, fire or other casualty, inability to obtain materials or services, technical failure or difficulties, problems or interruptions with the Internet, computer viruses, snowstorms, hurricanes, other acts of God, insurrection, or any other cause not within the reasonable control of either party.
10. Termination
10.1 Termination by EmBodhi Shakti: EmBohdi Shakti may terminate this Agreement before the completion of the total number of sessions detailed above, on written notice to the Client, where:
- The Client fails to perform or observe any of the terms of this Agreement and fails to remedy a breach within 30 calendar days of written notice provided by EmBodhi Shakti, LLC. concerning the failure, or
- The Client fails to perform any term of this Agreement which is incapable of remedy, or
- The Client cancels more than 3 Sessions during the program Period, or
- An insolvency event occurs in relation to the Client (e.g., bankruptcy, arrangement, or court order is made or proposed in relation to all or any of the Client’s assets), or
- The Client fails to pay in advance/on the day of the session and fails to pay within 5 calendar days of the reminder notice date for that session.
11. Cancellation and Missed Appointment Policy
Regarding One-on-One EmBodhi Shakti calls (if applicable): If you need to reschedule a session, please send written notice at least 48 hours in advance to brittany@embodhishakti.co. You will be able to make up the missed EmBodhi Shakti Session at an agreed-upon time during the Program. Otherwise, if less than 48 hours of notice is provided for cancellation or rescheduling, you will be forfeiting that appointment and unable to reschedule it. If you do have an emergency, we will work around it and make up the call. If you forget a call, we will not make it up.
12. Informed Consent
Informed consent for EmBodhi Shakti services is essential and out of respect for your right to self-determination. Consent must be given voluntarily, knowingly, and intelligently. You have the right to change your mind and withdraw informed consent at any time.
13. Statement of Informed Consent
I have read and fully understand the information contained in this document. Any and all questions I have regarding the contents of this document have been answered to my satisfaction and I would like to proceed with individual counseling.

**EmBodhi Shakti Privacy Policy**
